CaringKind’s connect2culture program invited people living with dementia and their care partners to an afternoon of classical and popular music, performed by musicians from New York City’s renowned Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
The Orpheus Reflections program brings the healing power of music to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and their caregivers. Music can bring emotional and physical closeness, help to ease stress, and encourage positive interactions.
Reflections programs give individuals living with dementia and their caregivers the opportunity to participate in intimate performances and to socialize with Orpheus musicians in comfortable, accessible settings.
